Dianag, If God wants to cause droughts, starvation, mass
extinction, etc. (which I doubt) I'm sure He (sic) is
perfectly capable of doing so without us and, personally, I'd
rather you and others didn't try to help Him (sic).
Anyway, with all due respect, the debate is about
anthropogenic climate change, not "weather".
If mankind is to blame for the change in climate and David
Parker, who once was known as the Minister of Climate Change,
then it is obvious we have no worries at all. Clearly the
direct line to God is no longer required as we can approach a
real person to address this dire situation. The new religion
is: Pay Carbon Tax and everything will be fine. Disregard the
low temperatures experienced in many parts of the world and
just relax when we have capable people at the helm of this
most awful naturally impending disaster.
I seldom worry about things I can't physically or emotionally
change but I like to make a difference with things I can help
change. Weather is a God zone, so I leave that one to Him !
