Unexpected delivery

Workmen clean up Arnold St, Northeast Valley, Dunedin, yesterday after a trailer carrying a palm tree detached from a Range Rover as it was being towed down the steep street.

A resident said a ''newish Range Rover'' and trailer ''fishtailed'' when transporting the tree down the street about 5pm.

The trailer ''jackknifed'', then detached from the 4WD, coming to rest in the driveway of a house, the witness said.
