The Otago University Students Association international food festival hosted by the university's international student clubs served up a smorgasbord of delicious tastes and smells.
Steaming plates of exotic delicacies from India, Fiji, Thailand, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka and Singapore were sold from tents.
Tracey Ng (19) was one of many people to experiment with her taste buds, trying some Fijian cuisine.
''I thought it was a good opportunity to try something a bit different,'' the Dunedin student said.
The annual festival was moved to the museum lawn this year to make it an open public event, OUSA Orientation event manager Dan Hendra said.
''We had an international food festival on campus last year, only we held it at night time, during winter. We thought it might be a good idea this year to hold it during the day, in summer, and have it at the museum, so everybody could join in,'' he said.
''We're really happy with the day and the turn-out. This is the final event for Orientation and it's a great way to finish an amazing week.''
