Harts Daffodil Charitable Trust volunteers kept more than
300 Daffodil Dayze visitors well fed with fire-cooked baked
potatoes and saveloys yesterday. Keeping the food coming

Unpredictable weather yesterday did not stop hordes of
people from visiting Harts Black Horse Brewery in Lawrence.
Daffodil Dayze organiser Kim "Dusty" Murtagh said about 300
people came through the gate, which was great, considering
the weather.
"I was really worried about today, but it's been lovely," she
said.
Visitors were treated to hammering contests (driving giant
nails into a log), a Ping-Pong raffle, where Ping-Pong balls
were dropped into the brewery creek near the waterfall and
the first ball to reach the bridge won $100, bagpipe and
banjo music and various stalls.
Proceeds from the Harts Daffodil Charitable Trust Daffodil
Dayze would be given to the Lawrence Toy Library, Ms Murtagh
said.
"It's been a big success this year. We are really happy with
the result."
