A person received moderate injuries after being trapped between two cars in Alexandra yesterday.
Senior Sergeant Ian Kerrisk said police assisted ambulance services at a workplace on Centennial Ave where an employee had attempted to move a car, before it rolled pinning the person against another car.
St John duty communication centre manager Andy Gray confirmed the ambulance service took a patient to Dunstan Hospital with what he thought were ''moderate'' injuries.
While he could not provide answers as to the cause, it ''sounds like it happened at low speed'', he said.
No further details were available.
