A Government team will be going to Hampden early next year to
debate economic growth.
Waitaki MP Jacqui Dean will put the team together for the
Hampden Community Energy Society debate and is promising to
"thrash" her opponents.
The society arranged a similar event last November on the
subject of "promoting continuous economic growth per se is a
sound national strategy to secure our children's future".
This year, the society wrote to Prime Minister John Key,
asking him to put together a team, but he declined due to the
pressures of his schedule.
