Historian and author Conal McCarthy will deliver a lecture on
Oamaru's architecture on Friday.
Dr McCarthy's talk is this year's Forrester and Lemon
Memorial Lecture, held as part of the Oamaru Victorian
Heritage Celebrations. The title is "Temples strayed from
Athens: Victorian Oamaru and New Zealand colonial
architecture".
Provided free to the public by the North Otago branch of the
New Zealand Historic Places Trust, it starts at 12.30pm in
the ODT Ink Box in the Oamaru Opera House.
