At these stations entrants were doused in brightly coloured corn starch.
Kate Cartwright, from Sport Waitaki, said that it was great to organise such a positive event promoting fitness and wellbeing while catering for a range of ages and abilities.
The run, sponsored by Rainbow Confectionery, is a non-profit event and proceeds raised go to Sporting Chance, a fund that enables local children from families in financial hardship to participate in sport. The final amount donated will be known in the coming days.
