Clutha Mayor Bryan Cadogan welcomed 12 new citizens to
the Clutha district on Thursday. Each new citizen was presented
with a kowhai tree, after swearing their allegiance to the
Queen before a full Clutha District Council in Balclutha. Mr
Cadogan said it was the biggest citizenship ceremony he could
remember in Clutha.
