Police are hunting a robber who left a pub worker "extremely
shaken" after forcing them to hand over cash behind the White
Horse Inn in Milton's main street this afternoon.
The offender, wearing a black hooded sweat shirt with the
pulled hood up tight around his face, ran off after accosting
the staff member in the pub's rear car park about 4.15pm.
Police said an undisclosed amount of cash was forcibly as the
victim was getting into a vehicle to take the banking away.
Police believe that the offender left via the rear area of
the car park which leads onto Spenser St. A possible sighting
of him running along Spenser Street in a northerly direction
towards Cowper Street has been reported to police.
Initial information obtained from witnesses in the area have
given a description of the suspect and possible path taken
following the robbery.
"The victim was uninjured but extremely shaken as a result of
the incident," police said in a statement.
