The West Otago trust raising funds for the new health centre
in Tapanui could be as much as $10,000 closer to its $1.5
million goal after last weekend's beer festival in Tapanui.
West Otago Health Centre Trust fundraising committee
chairwoman Annalie Downie said the event was a big success,
with all 300 tickets purchased, and she was expecting to add
between $8000 and $10,000 to the trust's coffers.
