A man was killed on a northern Southland property today after the fertiliser spreader truck he was operating overturned.
Police were called to the hill country property in the Key area, about 20km ast of Te Anau, about 12.30pm.
The 58-year-old contractor had already died when emergency services arrived. His name will not be released until next-of-kin have been notified.
Worksafe and the Police serious crash unit are investigating the incident.
