A man injured in a gas explosion in Invercargill this afternoon will be flown to Dunedin Hospital tonight.
A St John ambulance spokesman said the man, aged in his 30s, was taken by ambulance to Southland Hospital after the explosion about 5.30pm.
The ODT understands the explosion was inside the SouthDrill building in Spey St.
No further details were available.
