Police believe recent burglaries at golf clubs in the South may be linked to similar thefts earlier in the year.
In the past four days thieves have targeted green fee boxes at the Drummond Golf Club in Southland and at the Clinton Golf Club.
In January and February several golf clubs were targeted across the Southern and Canterbury Districts. No arrests were made in connection with these incidents.
Police are urging club members and local residents to secure property to minimise the opportunity of theft and to report any suspicious activity immediately.
