A 40-year-old man remains in a critical condition in Dunedin Hospital after a car crash yesterday morning.
Senior Sergeant Brian Benn, of Dunedin, said the single-vehicle crash occurred in Mossburn Five Rivers Rd, Mossburn, about 1.30am.
No-one else was in the vehicle.
A Fire Service spokesman said the man was cut from the double cab utility vehicle and flown to Dunedin Hospital by helicopter with serious injuries.
Mossburn and Lumsden fire crews attended the scene.
