Clinton Primary School pupils strutted their stuff on the catwalk yesterday afternoon in a special wearable arts fashion show to celebrate Matariki, the Maori new year.

The pupils made outfits from recycled boxes, rubbish bags and spray paint in keeping with the theme of space or the seven stars of Matariki.

They then walked the "catwalk'' at the school in a special show for parents.
