A great day was had by all at the second last event of the
interfield ski series, held at the Remarkables on Sunday,
September 6.
A beautiful day and great racing conditions drew 67 children
attracted by the dual slalom format where kids not only race
the clock but each other.
Laurie Taylor from Queenstown Alpine Ski Team had the fastest
time overall with a combined time of 35.42.
Jackson Wells from Cardrona High Performance Centre and
Elisabeth Reid who won the K1 girls section from Queenstown
Alpine Ski Team also had good days.
Francesca Masfen from Cardrona HPC won her age group. At age
6 she was the fastest in her age group with a combined time
of 51.23.
