The Remarkables is set to benefit from a major upgrade as the skifield's owners prepare for the coming ski season.

NZSKI is reviewing its hazard management system as a result of receiving a written warning from the Department of Labour after a worker was seriously injured when caught in a conveyor.

Parklife team member Nick Hyne, of Queenstown, impressed audiences and judges in the 2009 Tararua Real Iced Coffee Slopestyle Series at The Remarkables by winning a spot on the podium at each event.
