Basketball: Tall Blacks name 14-man squad

The Tall Blacks have named their 14-player squad to go to Asia to prepare for the FIBA Olympic Qualifying tournament in July.

Veterans Tom Abercrombie, Mika Vukona and Corey Webster form the backbone of the team, which also includes talented youngsters Isaac Fotu and Rob Loe.

BJ Anthony has been recalled to the side, while Finn Delany, who played for Dunedin's St Kilda Saints last year, could be set to make his debut. Jordan Ngatai will also fill a spot in the front court.

NBA star Steven Adams and highly touted prospect Tai Wynyard, both big men, were not available for selection, while veterans Lindsay Tait and Kirk Penney both recently retired.
