Basketball: Curry, James lead All-NBA team

Stephen Curry and LeBron James highlighted the All-NBA First Team released today.

Golden State Warriors' guard and league MVP Curry was unanimously voted into the side, while Cleveland Cavaliers' forward James received 125 of 129 possible votes.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook joined Curry in the backcourt, while San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard beat out the Thunder's Kevin Durant for the second forward spot.

Los Angeles Clippers big man DeAndre Jordan won the centre the closely-contested centre spot, picking up 39 first-team votes.

Alongside Durant, Warriors' forward Draymond Green filled a forward spot on the second team. They were joined by guards Chris Paul (Clippers) and Damian Lillard (Portland Trail-Blazers), as well as centre DeMarcus Cousins (Sacremento Kings).

The third team saw Indiana Pacers' forward Paul George and Spurs' forward LaMarcus Aldridge join Detroit Pistons' centre Andrew Drummond in the frontcorut. Klay Thompson (Warriors) and Kyle Lowry (Toronto Raptors) filled the guard spots.
