Light rain has delayed the start of Otago's HRV Cup match against Canterbury at Molyneux Park in Alexandra.
The game was scheduled to start at 2pm but persistent drizzle has seen the covers remain on.
Play can start as late as 4.40pm, with five overs available to each side.
