The ECB will reportedly not be charging former Black Cap Chris Cairns with any match fixing offences.

Cairns has been accused by former teammate Lou Vincent of inciting him to fix matches while playing county cricket in 2008.

The Telegraph newspaper has cited senior sources indicating he won't face any charges in the UK, despite being contracted to Nottinghamshire at the time.

Vincent is facing 14 charges and talks are ongoing between the ECB and his lawyers on the next step.

Meanwhile, the ECB has handed a life ban to former Sussex all-rounder Naved Arif, who pleaded guilty to six offences relating to a county match in 2011.
