Veteran White Ferns Amy Satterthwaite and Lea Tahuhu will return to the national side for their upcoming tour of the West Indies in September.

The squad of 14 will play four one-day internationals and three Twenty20s against their Caribbean opponents, with their first match being on September 13 in St Kitts.

Satterthwaite and Tahuhu come in for Katey Martin and Frances Mackay and are the only two changes from the squad which travelled to the World Twenty20 in Bangladesh earlier this year.

Having previously represented the White Ferns in 110 matches, top-order batsman Satterthwaite brings with her a wealth of experience. Tahuhu too is familiar with the international scene, having featured for the side 27 times.

"We gave Amy and Lea some areas to work on and we've been really impressed with their commitment to do what has been asked of them," White Ferns coach Hamish Barton said.

"Both of them have shown in the past that they're world class and they've still got a lot to offer. They've worked incredibly hard to get back in the side and I'm confident they'll take this opportunity."

The side will meet for a training camp in Tauranga on August 22 before departing for the West Indies on September 6.
