Cricket: Australia name four debutants in T20

Australia have named four debutants for their Twenty20 game against Pakistan in Dubai.

Legspinner Cameron Boyce, pacemen Kane Richardson and Sean Abbott and top-order batsman Phil Hughes have all been included for Sunday's one-off clash in front of a sell-out crowd of about 20,000.

Chief selector Rod Marsh presented the four players with their yellow caps as the team completed their warm-ups on the field.

The match will also be Aaron Finch's debut as Australia's T20 skipper after George Bailey stepped down from the role.

Finch lost the toss and Pakistan have chosen to bat in warm conditions.

Australia's squad has been weakened by the absences of Pat Cummins and Mitch Marsh.

Pace bowler Cummins took part in Saturday's Champions League final in India while allrounder Marsh broke down with a hamstring injury last week while playing in the same tournament.

Australia: Aaron Finch (capt), David Warner, Phil Hughes, Glenn Maxwell, Steven Smith, Brad Haddin, James Faulkner, Sean Abbott, Mitchell Starc, Kane Richardson, Cameron Boyce.

Pakistan: Shahid Afridi (capt), Ahmed Shahzad, Awais Zia, Sohaib Maqsood, Umar Amin, Umar Akmal, Saad Nasim, Anwar Ali, Wahab Riaz, Raza Hasan, Mohammad Irfan.
