Australian cricket vice-captain Michael Clarke has
returned to New Zealand to a media scrum after his high-profile
split from fiance Lara Bingle.
Clarke greeted all questions with "no comment" as he was
guided to a car by four Cricket Australia representatives at
Wellington Airport this afternoon.
Clarke has been in the spotlight since leaving the Australian
team's tour of New Zealand.
The 28-year-old walked out on a five-match one-day
international series after two games to rush home to Sydney
to sort out his relationship with model Lara Bingle.
He announced on Friday that his engagement with Bingle was
off.
He's expected to take his place in the team for Friday's
first test against the Black Caps in Wellington, with Ricky
Ponting's side resuming training at the Basin Reserve on
Tuesday.
