The leader has not changed but it is still anyone's
tournament part-way through the third round of the New Zealand
Open in Arrowtown.
Overnight pace-setter Robert Gates has gone through his first
seven holes in 2-under par to move to 14-under-par
and into a two-shot lead.
Australian Andrew Dodt is at 1-under on the day and
12-under for the tournament, while a big mover has been
Australian Michael Curtain, who has picked up four shots to
go to 11-under.
Other players looking good are veteran Australian Peter
O'Malley, who is 4-under through 12 holes and 9-under for the
tournament, and countryman Mark Hensby, who has picked up
five shots in 15 holes to move to 8-under.
The New Zealanders are having mixed fortunes. Phil Tataurangi
is 1-under today to be six shots off the lead, and David
Smail has also picked up a shot to move to 6-under.
Josh Geary has turned in 1-over-par to be 5-under for the
tournament.
