Manly's Martin Taupau will miss three NRL matches after submitting an early guilty plea for his dangerous throw on Brisbane's Matt Gillett.

Taupau will be out of action against Cronulla, Canberra and Penrith and won't be back on the field until the match against Gold Coast on June 20 as the Sea Eagles have a bye in round 12.

St George Illawarra's Joel Thompson accepted the early guilty plea for his third high tackle in eight matches and will miss only the with South Sydney on Thursday night.

The pair are likely to be the only players to miss games as a result of charges this weekend.

Parramatta pair Beau Scott and Isaac De Gois each took early guilty pleas for tripping charges from last Friday's loss to the Rabbitohs, meaning they are free to play Melbourne on Monday night.

Likewise both Solomone Kata (dangerous contact) and Justin Hunt (high tackle) can avoid suspensions if they enter early guilty pleas on Tuesday.

No players were charged from the Gold Coast's win over the Sydney Roosters on Monday night.
