Netball: Hoare leaving Vixens

The Melbourne Vixens will be without the services of shooter Erin Hoare when they defend their ANZ Championship title in 2015.

The 25-year-old joined the Vixens in 2013 after a standout season for the Victorian Fury in the Australian Netball League, but is now moving on.

"It has been an extremely tough decision to make. I am very grateful for the experiences I have had at Melbourne Vixens and would like to thank Netball Victoria for their support over the past two seasons," Hoare said.

The Vixens recently announced the re-signing of premiership trio Madi Robinson, England international Geva Mentor and shooter Karyn Bailey, but they say Hoare will be missed.

"I'm sad to see Erin leave but we wish her all the best with the opportunities that lay ahead," said Melbourne Vixens Head Coach Simone McKinnis.
