Australia have scored another emphatic victory over Scotland
in the second match of their two-Test netball series.
The Diamonds beat the hosts 76-18 in Glasgow after an
outstanding second quarter in which they scored 23 goals and
restricted Scotland to just two scoring shots.
Susan Pratley, Natalie Medhurst, Caitlin Bassett and Kate
Beveridge each played a half and all boasted shooting
percentages in the 90s.
Goal-keeper Bianca Chatfield was named player of the match.
Vice-captain and defender Mo'onia Gerrard missed the match
with an ankle injury, which she sustained during Sunday's
78-22 victory over the Scots.
Diamonds coach Norma Plummer said she would be guided by team
medical staff as to whether Gerrard can play in the first of
three Tests against England on Saturday.
Captain Natalie von Bertouch recovered from a stomach bug
which kept her out of the first match of the tour to play the
first half before Plummer gave Renae Hallinan a run at
centre.
