Crusty Demons fans have the chance to meet, greet, ride and hang out with two pioneers of the freestyle motocross scene in Alexandra this month.

In a visit organised by motorcycle clothing and graphics company Moto Mayhem's South Island manager Regan Healey, of Alexandra, and former Crusty Demon Luke Smith, of Auckland, Seth Enslow and James ''Bubba'' Chiasson land in Queenstown on October 17.

The American duo will spend the weekend of October 18-19 at Moto Mayhem's compound in Alexandra with pre-booked riders.

Smith said it would be their only South Island ride days.

''This is the chance to come ride with these guys, hang out with these legends of the sport. They will be handing out some tips and telling some stories of life on the road.''

These two stunt masters are bound to have some tales to tell. Within the freestyle motocross world Enslow's name is synonymous with huge jumps, even bigger courage and spectacular crashes.

He pushed the limits of long-distance bike jumping in a series of record attempts and his 2010 feat in which he managed a leap between ramps set 55.99m apart, on a highly-modified Harley-Davidson, still stands.

In contrast, Chiasson is the Crustys' funny man or, as Healey refers to him, ''the big fat fulla'', who gets the crowds going at the shows.
