MMA: Hunt to fight at UFC 200?

Kiwi UFC legend Mark Hunt looks set to fight Junior dos Santos in a rematch at UFC 200 in New York.

The Geelong Advertiser reports Hunt has been told to stay in shape by UFC president Dana White, a hint he'll be on the fightcard.

"I'm still waiting on word but it should be not far away at all," Hunt said of a possible appearance at UFC 200.

"I can't tell you much more. I was talking to Dana the other day but that's all I know.

"Maybe is all I can say. I was trying to get on the New York card [UFC 205 at Madison Square Garden], but we'll see what happens."

Hunt recently signed a six-fight deal with UFC.

The Kiwi, dubbed the Super Samoan, is ranked in the top seven heavyweight fighters, and has recently called out Brazilian dos Santos for a rematch in an attempt to climb the rankings.

"That's all I'm interested in doing - fighting for the world title," Hunt told One News last month. "Six fights gives me enough time to do it."
