The Fiery Ginga trotted the 2700m mobile journey in 3.26.8, cutting out his last 800m in 60.9.
Caesars Gamble qualified for Graeme Anderson and Amber Hoffman with a tidy 2200m performance. The 4yr-old Julius Caesar-Justa Gamble mare was almost 7sec inside the required qualifying time of 2.55.3, pacing the 2200m in 2.48.5, despite having to do it alone after her sole rival, Tachma, was pulled up during the running. She paced her last 800m in 59.8.
