Our Santana is heading inland after his tidy win at the Wingatui jump-outs yesterday.

The Coats Choice gelding won at his second start last season before being put aside following a 12th placing in the Gore Guineas in January.

His trainer, Paul Richards, said the 4yr-old would be aimed for racing in 10 days' time.

''He'll go to Cromwell on the first of December,'' Richards said.

Natuzzi pulled up well from his slashing second in the Steward Stakes, and Richards is still deciding his options with the 5yr-old.

The Bill and Sandra Duell-owned galloper has been nominated for the group 1 Telegraph Handicap at Trentham in late January - ''he'll definitely go there'' - but Richards is weighing up where to head with the son of Coats Choice in the meantime.

The majority of Brian and Shane Anderton's team who galloped at the jump-outs will be back at Wingatui for racing on December 9, as will The Lion Queen, who finished 1 lengths behind Tullibardine in a 1000m maiden heat.

The Lion Queen's trainer, Steven Prince, said he was originally planning to start the daughter of High Chaparral over 1200m, but he will now place her in a 1400m maiden.

''She's going to stay and I always thought 1200m might be a bit too short for her,'' he said.

Prince said Ric O'Shea had settled in well at home after his run in the Coupland's Mile last week, which was a change from his usual demeanour after a trip away.

''He usually sulks for a day or two,'' he said.

Ric O'Shea will go to the $25,000 Cromwell Cup over 2000m on December 1.
