The North Taieri stud retained the leading vendor title, holding off Berkley Stud for the second consecutive year and finishing with 10 horses sold for an aggregate of $237,500.
White Robe Lodge was also the leading vendor by average (three or more horses sold) with their 10 lots sold averaging $23,750.
White Robe Lodge stud manager Wayne Stewart was pleased the stud's stock performed admirably in the sale ring.
''It was very good for our sires,'' Stewart said.
''They had a good sale, considering the averages, as we were well above everything.''
Of the 10 White Robe lots which sold, three of them went to John Foote Bloodstock, the leading buyer on the day.
Foote buys horses for Ballarat trainer Darren Weir, and Weir has experienced plenty of success with the White Robe Lodge breed, including a victory with Doctor Care (Gallant Guru-Clear As A Bell) at Swan Hill in Victoria last month.
''Every one they've bought off us has won,'' Stewart said.
''They're certainly happy with what they've got and they've come back for more.''
Raise The Flag continued his dream run from the second-tier sale at Karaka in January, topping the sires' list with eight of his progeny selling for an average of $22,813.
''They're really sought after. There was plenty of interest and plenty of people on them.
''There was no trouble at all selling them - it just flowed on from where he was at Karaka.''
The average of $10,747 was up by 7% on August's sale, and Stewart was happy with the new timeframe for the sales.
''There was quite a good buying bench on Sunday, a lot better than what it's been before. If you had a nice horse, there was enough competition there for it.
''It was a good time to prepare the horses and if you've got the right horses, they're certainly going to come to it anyway.''
A colt by New Zealand's leading sire, O'Reilly, topped the session, knocked down for $64,000 to Foote.
