Thoroughbred racing

Timothy Johnson: Fined $100 for failing to claim all of his 4kg claim on Serene Star in race 3 and O'Ren Ishii in race 9 at Tauherenikau on Thursday.

Jake Lowry: Fined $200 for failing to make full use of his claim to make the contracted weight of 54.5kg on Alacria in race 3 and 52kg on Brah Spring in race 7 at Timaru on Friday.

Harness racing

Graham Pearson: Fined $200 for crossing over with Albuquerque prior to the start of race 1 at Addington on Friday. Admitted.

Gavin Smith: Fined $400 for excessive use of the whip on Paris Princess in race 2 at Addington on Friday. Admitted.

Ngaire Buchan: Five days for careless driving in race 1 at Gore on Saturday. Admitted. Allowed Pure Success to strike the sulky wheel of Grace Lightning over the concluding stages. Suspended October 12-November 1.

Gary McEwan: Three days for careless driving in race 1 at Gore on Saturday. Defended. Shifted ground with Eyre's A Rag Doll, checking Denn Nee Nose Best and causing it to break. Suspended October 12-November 1.
