Rugby: Chiefs missing players

The Chiefs will be missing plenty of prominent players when they take on the Highlanders tomorrow night at Forsyth Barr Stadium.

Robbie Robinson, Andrew Horrell and Richard Kahui are still injured, and the midfield of the visiting side will be made up of Tim Nanai-Williams, usually a fullback, and new boy Bundee Aki.

Gareth Anscombe, normally a first five-eighth, will start at fullback.

Sam Cane starts at the openside flank role, ahead of Tanerau Latimer, while Pauliasi Manu will make his first start for the franchise at loosehead prop.

The Highlanders name their team today.
