The Otago Sassenachs defeated mind-Canterbury 41-15 at University Oval in Dunedin this afternoon.
The home side led 22-3 at the break, with two tries to Lachie Moore and one to Tony Ensor.
The visitors were more enterprising in the second spell, scoring two tries themselves.
But the Sassenachs dominated possession and territory, and the score was a fair reflection of the match.
