Northern Hemisphere-based website Planet Rugby has named
seven All Blacks in its 2008 Team of the Year.
Mils Muliaina, Conrad Smith, Dan Carter, Richie McCaw, Ali
Williams, Greg Somerville and Tony Woodcock were named in the
team which also contains three South Africans and one each
from Australia, Scotland, Wales, Italy and Fiji.
The team is; Muliaina, Napolioni Nalaga (Fiji), Smith, Jean
de Villiers (South Africa), Shane Williams (Wales), Carter,
Mike Blair (Scotland), Sergio Parisse (Italy), McCaw, Rocky
Elsom (Australia), Williams, Bakkies Botha (South Africa),
Somerville, John Smit (South Africa), Woodcock.
