The Highlanders have made a couple of changes to their forward pack to take on the Chiefs in Invercargill on Saturday night.

Elliot Dixon comes into the team for Gareth Evans on the blindside flank, while lock Mark Reddish picked up a hand injury in the win over the Force last week and is replaced by Tom Franklin.

Richard Buckman replaces Shaun Treeby in the Highlanders midfield.

It will be a crunch match for both teams with major playoff consequences.

The Chiefs side is due to be named this afternoon.
Highlanders: Ben Smith (captain), Waisake Naholo, Malakai Fekitoa, Richard Buckman, Patrick Osborne, Lima Sopoaga, Aaron Smith, Dan Pryor, John Hardie, Elliot Dixon, Tom Franklin, Alex Ainley, Josh Hohneck, Liam Coltman, Brendon Edmonds. Reserves: Ash Dixon, Daniel Lienert-Brown, Ross Geldenhuys, Joe Latta, Gareth Evans, Fumiaki Tanaka, Marty Banks, Jason Emery
