It will be a clash of the titans when Korea plays China in the crunch men's game in the Winter Games today.

The result of the game between the Asian powers could be an indicator of who will claim the gold medal in Saturday's final.

Korea, the only unbeaten men's team in the competition, has assumed the mantle of favourite since its 10-3 win against Japan on the opening day.

The Koreans spoiled local hopes with a 9-4 win against New Zealand yesterday, following an 8-5 win against Australia.

New Zealand was 4-0 down after just two ends, and while it fought back with points on the third, fourth, sixth and eighth ends, it conceded three on the seventh to hand Korea the game.

The New Zealand men have a tough game against Japan today. Japan triumphed in another all-Asian battle yesterday, beating China 8-7 with a point on the final end.

The shock of the tournament has been the form of the Canadians, who remain winless after losses yesterday to Japan (12-6) and the United States (6-2).

China remains the favourite in the women's competition after beating Korea 9-8. The Chinese were playing New Zealand last night.
