doubles match with partner Heather Watson today.
The New Zealander and the Brit fell in straight sets to ninth
seeds Anna-Lena Groenefeld of Germany and Kveta Peschke of
the Czech Republic 6-4 6-0.

being knocked out in the first round of the doubles in
Melbourne.
The Kiwi No1 was ousted in the singles on Monday after going
down to French opponent Alize Cornet 7-5 6-7(3) 10-8.
