The Breakers' bogey team struck again on Saturday night as
the first place New Zealanders dropped their first game of
2012 to the lowly Wollongong Hawks.
The New Zealand Breakers are playing hardball with teammate
BJ Anthony and have imposed a 10-day suspension on the
forward after he turned up to training hungover.
The Breakers have their eyes on back-to-back ANBL titles but
they are already in planning mode for next season and want to
retain their entire squad for the next campaign.
A perfect storm of circumstances saw the Breakers return to
the top of the Australian NBL after terrorising the Melbourne
Tiger to the tune of a 14-point win tonight.
As paradoxical as it might sound, Breakers' coach Andrej
Lemanis thinks his side is entering a dangerous period even
though they are contemplating four consecutive home games.
