The number of people at the 127th Palmerston and Waihemo
A and P Show on Saturday exceeded the 2000 who attended last
year, committee member Gal Mills said.
The show, held in hot conditions, was opened by teenage MX
champion Courtney Duncan, of Palmerston.
The equestrian entries were of a high standard.
Flower entries were slightly down but the quality was very
high, as were the vegetable entries, Mrs Mills said.
