Curlers and ice hockey fans will be able to watch broadcasts of the Winter Games New Zealand courtesy of a sponsorship deal between the two sporting disciplines and the SBS Bank.
Maniototo Curling International Naseby Indoor Ice Rink manager Fred Newman said the opportunity to host the Winter Games NZ curling events at the indoor rink was a "fantastic coup" for the district.
The ice hockey games will be held at the Dunedin Ice Rink and the two exhibition matches will be a battle of transtasman rivalry between the Ice Blacks and Team Australia.
