Otago woke up to another morning of sub-zero temperatures leading to black ice on Otago roads this morning.
Dunedin was -0.5degC at 6.30am, but according to one temperature gauge in North East Valley it was much cooler.
The Dunedin City Council said this morning there was widespread black ice in the city and motorists should exercise extreme caution, but normal driving conditions are now in effect.
