Video: Big crowd at Santa Parade

Thousands of people have turned out to enjoy the annual Santa Parade in Dunedin this afternoon.

Dunedin Santa Parade Trust member Marilyn Anderson said cold and ''squally showers'' earlier in the day were not enough to damage the floats and cancel the event.

It was the 18th Santa Parade in the city, which began at the Regent 24 hour Night and Day Store in George St and made its way to the Octagon from 3pm.
