Police believe they are closing the net on offenders after a
series of incidents including vehicle theft in Central Otago
but are concerned the nature of offences is escalating.
Central Otago sub area commander Senior Sergeant Ian Kerrisk
said this week vehicles were taken from Alexandra and Clyde
and a mountain bike from Alexandra.
The offenders were believed to be those involved with
graffiti in Clyde recently.
He said police believe there was a party at a Russell St
house that night but they would like to speak to anyone who
knew where the party was or who may have seen a group of
young people in the area of Russell and Chicago Sts,
Alexandra.
