More than $21,000 for guide dogs was raised in 45 minutes at
The Hills golf course last night in a charity auction.
Top price was paid for a Queenstown Adventure Package, with
the winner paying $4000 for flights for two from anywhere to
Queenstown, four nights' accommodation at the Sofitel, ski
passes for Coronet or The Remarkables, a trip for two on TSS
Earnslaw, a $200 dinner voucher at Botswana Butchery, a
flight with the Helicopter Line, a treatment at Hush Spa, 10
dozen Bluff oysters, a mixed case of William Hill Central
Otago wine, two bungy jumps and a trip for two people with
Kawarau Jet.
A trip for two to Fiji and accommodation in Port Denaru, a
jet-boat ride for two, a round at the Denaru Golf Course and
Bula Bus pass was sold for $2900; while a Samsung
high-definition television sold for $2750.
A round of golf at The Hills sold for $2500.
