A musical family event in Balclutha this weekend is expected
to go off with a bang - and end the same way.
The South Otago Youth Trust's annual fireworks night on
Saturday at the Balclutha Showgrounds will include music from
local bands before the sky is lit up with fireworks about
9.30pm.
Musicians include Jordan Edwards and the 3 Frets Down band,
comprising Simon Edwards, Nelson Bungard and Michael Sanders,
and the Southlife band.
