If you think your street could do with a spruce-up, a Keep
Dunedin Beautiful (KDB) competition is for you.
Run in conjunction with the Otago Home Show, the "Most
Improved Street Competition" involves taking photos of your
street, or section of street, before giving it a tidy-up and
documenting the results.
The improvements should not be costly, and could include
clearing litter and graffiti and tidying gardens and
frontages.
Rubbish bags and gloves are available from KDB and the
Dunedin City Council can reimburse the cost of one trailer
load of rubbish to the landfill.
Winners will receive a plaque, trophy, and street party or
appropriate street gift.
The before photos are due in by December 15, and the after
photos by February 21.
Winners will be announced at the Otago Home Show on March 4.
